Holafly eSIM review
Unlimited data, sold by the day.

Holafly is the unlimited-by-day specialist: you buy a number of days rather than gigabytes, with no GB counter to watch. That's great for heavy streaming or hotspot use, but it's expensive if you only need a little data, and “unlimited” still means fair-use throttling after a daily threshold. It's a different product from the GB-based brands.
How we review: this is a research-based editorial review built from each provider's published plans and the prices we cross-checked against esimdb.com, the provider's own site and independent 2026 comparisons. We don't take payment for reviews, and the rating is the average of the visible sub-scores below.
What is Holafly?
Holafly built its name on “unlimited” travel data. Instead of selling gigabytes, it sells a number of days of unlimited data, which suits travellers who don't want to ration data.
Plans & data model
Unlimited-by-day only — there are no fixed-GB tiers. You pick the number of days; speed is reduced under a fair-use policy after a daily high-speed threshold. Some plans cap hotspot/tethering.
Pricing
Sold per day, not per GB. Entry plans we saw started around US$11.70 for 3 days (≈US$3.90/day), falling to roughly US$2.50/day on 30-day plans. Good value if you use a lot of data daily; poor value for occasional, light use.
Best for: Heavy data users — streaming, video calls and hotspot — who don't want to count gigabytes.
Pros / Cons
Pros
- No GB limit to monitor — genuinely simple if you use a lot of data.
- Strong for streaming, video calls and tethering on data-hungry trips.
- Pick-your-days pricing is easy to understand.
- Wide destination coverage.
Cons
- Expensive for light or occasional use — you pay for unlimited whether you use it or not.
- “Unlimited” is fair-use throttled after a daily threshold, so it isn't truly limitless.
- No small fixed-GB option for a cheap, light trip.
- Some plans limit hotspot/tethering data.

Our verdict
Holafly is the right answer to one specific question: “I want unlimited data and I don't want to think about gigabytes.” For heavy daily use it's genuinely convenient. For a normal maps-and-messaging trip, a fixed 3–5 GB plan from a GB-based brand is far cheaper.
Holafly eSIM — frequently asked questions
- Is Holafly a good eSIM?
- Holafly is a reputable travel-eSIM brand with genuine strengths — see the pros, cons and verdict above. Whether it's the best choice depends on your trip: how much data you need, where you're going, and how much price matters to you.
- Is Holafly cheaper than Miyaw?
- It depends on the destination and data size. Miyaw prices its data-only plans at wholesale plus a flat margin, so they usually sit at or below the big-name brands at the same GB tier. Check the live numbers on our best-eSIM comparison before you buy.
- Does Holafly offer truly unlimited data?
- “Unlimited” travel-eSIM plans — including those from the major brands — apply fair-use throttling after a daily high-speed cap, so they are not genuinely limitless. Check the daily threshold before relying on one for heavy use.
- Is Holafly safe and legitimate?
- Yes — Holafly is an established travel-eSIM provider. As with any eSIM, make sure your phone is unlocked and eSIM-compatible, and install before you travel while you still have internet.
