Governing law: England & Wales

This Privacy Policy explains how Miyaw eSIM collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website and buy an eSIM data plan. We are the data controller; our identity and contact details are shown above.

What we collect

  • Information you give us: your email address and message when you contact support, and — when you buy a plan — your email and the destination/plan you choose.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles them and acts as a separate payment processor. We receive confirmation and limited order information.
  • Information collected automatically: basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) needed to run and secure the site. If you consent, Google Analytics 4 sets analytics cookies to measure how the site is used, with IP anonymisation enabled.

How we use your data

  • To provide, deliver and support your eSIM data plan.
  • To operate, secure, debug and improve the website.
  • With your consent, to measure how the site is used (analytics).
  • To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)

We rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the eSIM you buy); your consent (analytics cookies, and any marketing); our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and improving the service); and legal obligation (keeping tax and accounting records).

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with: our connectivity provider, to provision and deliver your eSIM; Stripe, to take payment; Google, for analytics (only if you consent); and our hosting and infrastructure providers. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required. We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires (generally six years in the UK). Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to help you. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email us using the address above.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to your local data-protection authority.

Cookies

For details of the cookies we use and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy.
