Activation in Chile
After your profile is issued, Miyaw's quick-install flow hands it to the iOS/Android Add eSIM screen in about 10 seconds: the provider setup link or LPA activation link opens pre-filled, while QR and manual details stay available as fallbacks. Finish the OS prompts, then check the line name, mobile-data line and data roaming before you fly.
How to install your Miyaw eSIM
Turn on Data Roaming abroad
On your phone, enable Data Roaming for the Miyaw line. An eSIM connects through local partner networks, so without roaming switched on you won't get data abroad.
On iPhone (iOS)
- Buy your plan — your QR code arrives by email and is saved in your Miyaw account.
- On the iPhone you will travel with, open Settings → Mobile data → Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR code (or enter the details manually) and follow the prompts.
- Leave the line for data and enable Data Roaming for the Miyaw line so it connects abroad.
On Android
- Buy your plan — your QR code arrives by email and in your Miyaw account.
- Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM (wording varies by brand).
- Scan the QR code and confirm the download of the eSIM profile.
- Select the Miyaw eSIM for mobile data and enable roaming for that line.
Honest limits
- Data only — no phone number, SMS or voice calls.
- Most plans can be topped up with more data before they expire.
Chile eSIM — FAQ
- Will my phone work with a Miyaw Chile eSIM?
- Most recent iPhones and many newer Android phones support eSIM. Check Settings → Mobile data → Add eSIM; if the option exists, your phone is compatible.
- When does my Chile plan start counting?
- Install before you fly — it needs internet. Most Miyaw plans then start counting when the eSIM first connects to a network in Chile, but always check the plan validity terms before you buy.
- Can I keep my phone number?
- Yes. The Miyaw data-only eSIM runs alongside your home SIM, so you keep your number for calls and texts.
