Frequently asked questions

What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. You activate a data plan by scanning a QR code instead of inserting a plastic card.
Will my phone work with a Miyaw eSIM?
Most recent iPhones and many newer Android phones support eSIM. Check Settings → Mobile data → Add eSIM; if that option exists, you are good to go.
When does my plan start?
Installation needs internet, so install before you fly. The plan only starts counting once you reach your destination and connect.
Can I keep my phone number?
Yes. A Miyaw data-only eSIM runs alongside your home SIM, so you keep your number for calls and texts.
What happens when my data runs out?
If your plan supports top-up, you can add data online to the same eSIM. Otherwise, buy a new plan and install it — your phone holds several eSIMs.
